
Hamilton begins three-game weekend tonight

The Hamilton Bulldogs (31-39-0-4) begin three games in three days tonight when they travel to Syracuse to face the Crunch (44-22-4-3) at 7:30 p.m. Hamilton has a record of 3-4-0-0 against Syracuse this season. In the last meeting on March 25 in Syracuse, the Bulldogs fell to the Crunch by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs have an all-time record of 32 wins, 27 losses, 11 ties and one shootout loss against the Crunch.
On Saturday, Hamilton battles the Barons (26-45-2-3) in Cleveland at 7:05 p.m. in the seventh of eight meetings this season. The Bulldogs have a record of 3-3-0-0 against the Barons in 2005-06. In the last meeting on March 4, Cleveland defeated Hamilton 4-1. The Bulldogs have an all-time record of 22 wins, 11 losses, one tie and two overtime losses against the Barons.
After playing the Crunch and Barons, the Bulldogs return home on Sunday to face the Manitoba Moose (41-22-7-5) at Copps Coliseum for the eighth and final time. Game time is 4:00 p.m. Hamilton has a record of 3-3-0-1 against Manitoba this season. In the last meeting on March 10, Jaroslav Halak made 33 saves and Maxim Lapierre scored in overtime as the Bulldogs defeated the Moose 2-1. Hamilton has an all-time record of 28 wins, 12 losses, one tie, one overtime loss and one shootout loss against Manitoba.

BULLDOGS NOTES
- LW Duncan Milroy scored on a penalty shot in overtime to give the Bulldogs a 2-1 win over the Manchester Monarchs on Saturday, April 1. It was the first time that a Bulldogs game was decided by a penalty shot in overtime.
- The goal was Milroy's first game-winner of the season and ended a five-game pointless streak.
- G Yann Danis stopped 28 shots to earn the win on Saturday and was named the game's first star. It was Danis' first win in his last five starts.
- D Andre Benoit recorded his first point in eight games when he earned an assist against the Monarchs.

- Canadiens C Mike Ribeiro (1g-2a), C Chris Higgins (1g-1a) and RW Michael Ryder (2a) each recorded multipoint games as Montreal defeated the Ottawa Senators 5-3.
- Bruins RW Mariusz Czerkawski scored and C Marty Reasoner recorded an assist as Boston beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-2 in a shootout. G Tim Thomas made 31 saves to earn the win.
- Stars RW Antti Miettinen scored in Dallas' 5-3 win over the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.
