
Minnesota Recalls Goalie Johan Gustafsson

SAINT PAUL, Minn. - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher on Friday announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled goaltender Johan Gustafsson (pronounced JOE-hahn GUHS-tahf-suhn) from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Gustafsson, 21 (2/28/92), is 2-0-0 with a 1.99 goals-against average (GAA), a .935 save percentage (SV%) and one shutout in three games with Iowa this season. The 6-foot-2, 199-pound native of Koping, Sweden, went 20-13-0 with a 1.70 GAA, a .929 SV% and four shutouts in 33 games for Lulea HF in Sweden's Elite League last season. Gustafsson was selected by the Wild in the sixth round (159th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
The Wild remains at home on Sunday, Oct. 27 with the Grand Rapids Griffins at 5:05 p.m. The game will feature the Subway Family Four Pack, with four tickets, four hot dogs, four hats, four sodas and Subway coupons, starting at $44. The game on Oct. 27 will also feature a Halloween Costume Party for fans, trick-or-treating on the concourse and a postgame skate. Fans are also encouraged to bring winter hats, gloves and mittens for the team's clothing drive. Each fan that brings an item to donate will receive a FREE ticket to an upcoming Iowa Wild home game. On Saturday, the first 2,500 fans will receive an Iowa Wild T-Shirt, presented by 97.3 NASH FM. It is also Ladies Night, featuring special promotions catered towards women and a chance to win lunch with Iowa Wild defenseman Corbin Baldwin. Iowa rounds out its five-game homestand on Sunday, Nov. 3 with the Milwaukee Admirals.
