HAMILTON, ONT. - Hamilton Bulldogs goaltender Mike Condon stopped all 27 shots he faced, while forwards Daniel Carr and Gabriel Dumont led the way offensively with two assists apiece to pace the 'Dogs (16-14-6-0) to a 3-0 win over the Utica Comets (22-8-5-0) at FirstOntario Centre on Friday evening.

Hamilton forward Nick Sorkin got the 'Dogs on the board first with a rebound tap-in for his third goal of the season at 15:29 of the opening period, assisted by forwards Drayson Bowman and T.J. Hensick.

After a scoreless middle frame, Bulldogs forward Maxime Macenauer put a snap shot just under the cross bar for his fifth goal of the season at the 14-minute mark of the third period to make it a 2-0 game. Dumont and Carr had assists.

With 1:29 to go, 'Dogs forward Jacob de la Rose scored his fourth goal of the year into an empty net to put the game away for Hamilton, 3-0. Dumont and Carr connected again for assists on the play.

The shutout was Condon's first in the American Hockey League, Hamilton's first since Nov. 23, 2013 (Dustin Tokarski at Syracuse Crunch, 3-0) and the club's first on home ice since March 5, 2013 (Tokarski vs. Abbotsford Heat, 2-0). Joacim Eriksson stopped 30 of 32 shots faced for the Comets in the loss.

Hamilton went 0-for-3 on the power play, while Utica was 0-for-4 with a man advantage.

NOTES: Bulldogs defenceman Jarred Tinordi left the game with an upper-body injury and didn't return following a fight with Comets defenceman Andrey Pedan at 10:04 of the second period in which Tinordi fell hard to the ice. The 'Dogs defenceman will be re-evaluated on Saturday.
