
McKenzie Recalled by Dallas Stars

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced a pair of roster moves today as forward Curtis McKenzie has been recalled by Dallas and forward Ludwig Karlsson has been reassigned to the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads.
McKenzie, 23, has appeared in nine games already this season for Dallas and scored his first career NHL goal on Nov. 16, against the Chicago Blackhawks. In six games this season for Texas the 6-foot-2, 205-pound forward has two goals and two assists. McKenzie was a sixth-round pick (159th overall) for Dallas in 2009.
Karlsson, 23, returns to the organization's ECHL affiliate in Idaho where he has tallied five points in 12 games this season (three goals, two assists). During his recent stint with Texas, Karlsson appeared in two games.
The Stars host the Oklahoma City Barons tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Park Center.
