Ducks Recall Defenseman Jesse Blacker

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled defenseman Jesse Blacker from their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Norfolk Admirals.

Blacker, 23, has recorded four points in 14 games played with the Admirals this season, including an assist during Wednesday night's win over Charlotte. The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder has laced up his skates for a total of 194 games in the AHL as he prepares for his NHL debut this afternoon for Anaheim when the Ducks battle the Chicago Blackhawks.

The Admirals begin a six-game road trip tonight as they take on the Hartford Wolf Pack for a 7 p.m. start.
