ATLANTIC CITY, NJ - The Albany Devils jumped out to an early lead and then held on for a 4-2 win against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Friday at Atlantic City's historic Boardwalk Hall. Reid Boucher, Ben Thomson, Graham Black and Paul Thompson each scored and Scott Wedgewood made 27 stops.
The Devils, who extended their point streak to three games, jumped out to a 3-0 advantage with the help of two power-play goals in the first period. Boucher cashed in at the tail end of a 5-on-3 power play from Joe Whitney at 4:11.
