Admirals Ink MacDonald to PTO

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announced today that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has signed defenseman David MacDonald to a Professional Tryout Contract (PTO).
MacDonald, 28, has spent the majority of the past two seasons with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. The 6-foot, 210-pounder has recorded 20 points since the beginning of the 2013-14 season with the Cyclones. Additionally, MacDonald has suited up in four games in the AHL, registering one point.
The Admirals begin a six-game road trip tonight as they take on the Hartford Wolf Pack for a 7 p.m. start.
