HEAD-TO-HEAD - The Monarchs and Royals will play their last matchup of the season at the Jungle tonight in the ninth meeting between the East Division rivals. To date, the Monarchs and Royals have split the season series, with the Monarchs taking a 4-4-0-0 record into tonight's game.

WHERE WE STAND - The Monarchs (80 points) remain in first place in the East Division despite dropping last night's game, and continue to lead the Adirondack Thunder by six points in the East. Manchester now sits one point behind Toledo for tops in the Eastern Conference and third in the ECHL.

IT'S A PARTY - The Monarchs celebrate Max's 15th birthday party this evening, throwing a Superhero party for the legendary mascot. Appearances by Batman, Spiderman, Captain America and Supergirl will headline the many mascots coming out to celebrate, and the first 4,000 fans in the Jungle will receive Max Superhero Bobbleheads, sponsored by Hot Hits. Joey Diamond, Mark Fornataro, Gasper Kopitar and your favorite Monarchs will be wearing superhero capes during warm-ups to celebrate the occasion.

SEEING GREEN - The Monarchs will be wearing special Girl Scout inspired uniforms for tonight's game which will be available for auction during the game.

BACK STREAKING - Maxim Kitsyn is set to make his return to the Manchester lineup tonight after a stint with the Ontario Reign (AHL), and immediately becomes the Monarchs leading scorer. The winger returns on a 13-game point streak, currently the longest in the ECHL, and tied for second longest in the league all season. Kitsyn is also riding a six-game home goal streak, and has scored in 19 of his last 20 games (13g, 11a).

REBOUNDING NICELY - The Monarchs have lost five times this season on Friday nights, but when they play again Saturday, they haven't lost, going 4-0-0-0 in the rebound game.

FIRE AWAY - Getting pucks on net is important for the Monarchs as they are 28-6-2-4 when outshooting their opponents this season but only 6-10-1-1 when being outshot in a game.
