Matchbox Cars and Jersey Raffle Highlight Season's Final Weekend
April 1, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release
Fresno, Calif. â The Fresno Falcons complete their inaugural season in the ECHL this weekend when they host the Idaho Steelheads on Friday and Saturday at Save Mart Center at 7 p.m. both evenings.
The first 2,500 fans at Friday's game will receive a free Falcons Matchbox Car courtesy of Hedrick's Chevrolet.
Saturday's contest will feature a post-game jersey raffle for the Falcons' blue sweaters, which the players will award to raffle winners right off their backs at the conclusion of the game.
The $5 raffle tickets, which are designated for a specific player's jersey by the entrant, can be purchased at the Fan Assistance Center on the Save Mart Center concourse during both Friday and Saturday's games until the 10-minute mark of the third period of the latter, when no further entries will be taken. The number of entries per person is unlimited, but fans must be present during the drawing on Saturday to win.
Tickets to both games can be purchased directly at Save Mart Center's Box Office and all Ticketmaster outlets, which include select Save Mart Supermarkets, Tower Records, Wherehouse Music and Ritmo Latino locations, charged by phone at 485-TIXS or bought online by clicking the Ticketmaster icon throughout www.fresnofalcons.com.
*Giveaway Note: The San Jose Sharks Jersey Radios and Falcons Lunchboxes that were scheduled to be given away by the team earlier this season have arrived. Fans holding vouchers for the delayed giveaways may redeem their vouchers at the Promotions Table on the arena concourse during both Friday and Saturday's games.
