Pride prevail in OT

FLORENCE, SC -- Scott Balan scored with 1:02 to go in overtime to give the Florence Pride a 5-4 win over the Gwinnett Gladiators Thursday night at the Florence Civic Center.

Kyle Kidney scored two goals and added an assist. The two goals give Kidney 20 goals for the first time in his three-year pro career.

With the win, the Pride improve to 5-0-1 in their last six home games.

Florence wraps up its home schedule Friday night, hosting the Greensboro Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Fan Appreciation Night. The night starts with a pre-game tailgate party at 5:30 p.m. in the civic center's upper parking lot. In addition, the Pride will make a major announcement immediately after the National Anthem.
