Dave Nonis, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced that the club has signed forward Jeff Cowan to an American Hockey League contract.
Cowan, 34, has skated in 21 games with the Marlies so far this season, tallying eight points (five goals, three assists) to go along with four penalty minutes. The 6'2, 205-pound forward has scored three of his five goals while on the man-advantage, which ranks second on the club in that category.
