Oklahoma City Barons News Release

Oklahoma City - The appearance of Cord and Jet McCoy, stars of the hit show The Amazing Race, at the Barons game tonight has been postponed.

Cord received word yesterday that he is going to ride at the Professional Bull Riders event in Portland, Oregon this weekend. McCoy rode at last weekend's event in Indianapolis and earned important qualifier dollars in his quest to qualify for his fifth PBR World Finals. Should Cord ride well this weekend, he could qualify for the PBR event in Oklahoma City next weekend.

Due to the persistent snow near his home in Ada, Jet is unable to get to Oklahoma City.

The Barons are working with both of them to re-schedule their appearance for later this season. The two will return to the reality show for an All Star edition of The Amazing Race beginning in mid-February.

Oklahoma City will play their game as scheduled tonight against the Peoria Rivermen, AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blue tonight at 7:05 p.m. The first 2,000 kids 12-and-under through the doors will receive a cowboy hat from the Barons and OK Sports Blitz.
