Rampage Assign Lunden to Las Vegas

SAN ANTONIO (February 4, 2011) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving today announced that the American Hockey League (AHL) club has reassigned forward Josh Lunden to their ECHL affiliate, the Las Vegas Wranglers.

Lunden, 24, appeared in three Rampage games this season before suffering a lower-body injury on Oct. 15, 2010. Last season he skated in eight games and posted two assists with the Rampage after completing his senior season at the University of Alaska-Anchorage (NCAA).

The Port Coquitlam, British Columbia native spent four seasons in Anchorage totaling 84 points (47 goals, 37 assists) in 126 games with the Sea Wolves. He was named to the WCHA All-Academic Team three times (2008-2010).

The Rampage begin their annual Rodeo road trip tonight with a back-to-back series against the Lake Erie Monsters at Quicken Loans Arena.
