Dallas Recalls Wathier, Texas Signs Mouillierat

Cedar Park, TX - The Dallas Stars announced on Friday that the NHL club has placed right wing Adam Burish on Injured Reserve with a facial injury, retroactive to Thursday, Feb. 3, when he suffered the injury at Boston. The team also announced that it has recalled left wing Francis Wathier from the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). The Texas Stars announced on Friday that the club has signed forward Kael Mouillierat to a PTO (Professional Tryout Agreement).

Wathier, 26, has appeared in one game for Dallas this season (Jan. 21 at Calgary). He has played in 44 AHL games for Texas this season, recording 24 points (13 goals, 11 assists). Wathier represented Texas at the AHL All-Star Game this past Monday in Hershey, PA. The St. Isidore, ON native led the Western Conference with two goals and a +2 rating in the contest. The 6-3, 230-pound winger was Dallas' sixth round selection (185th overall) in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The 23-year old Mouillierat has played in 44 games for the Idaho Steelheads this season, leading the team with 17 goals and 44 points. Prior to joining the Steelheads, Mouillierat attended training camp with the Texas Stars, the Steelheads AHL Affiliate. From 2006-2010, he played in 144 games at Minnesota State-Mankato University, scoring 49 goals and adding 43 assists for 92 points.

Burish, 28, has appeared in 52 games for Dallas this season, scoring seven goals and four assists for 11 points. The seven goals and 11 points are new career-highs. The native of Madison, WI, signed as a free agent with Dallas on July 1, 2010.

Texas will travel to Houston to face the Aeros at 7:35 PM on Friday, February 4th. Texas returns home to host the Oklahoma City Barons on Saturday, February 5th at 7:00 PM.
