Toronto Marlies News Release

A proud member of the American Hockey League, the Toronto Marlies will hold their sixth of 10 bobblehead days this season tomorrow when they host the Rockford IceHogs - AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks - in a 4:00 p.m. contest at Ricoh Coliseum. The first 5,000 fans in attendance will receive a Doug Gilmour bobblehead when they enter through the gates.

Gilmour began the 2008-09 campaign as an assistant coach with the Marlies before accepting the head coaching duties with the Kingston Frontenacs of the Ontario Hockey League. The former Maple Leaf legend will have his number raised to the rafters of Air Canada Centre tomorrow night prior to the Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Pittsburgh Penguins game at 7:00 p.m.

The Marlies seek their franchise-record seventh straight home victory tonight when they host their QEW-rival, the Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - at 7:00 p.m. at Ricoh Coliseum. Tonight's game will air live on Rogers TV Cable 10 in Toronto and 63 in Scarborough. Fans can listen to all Toronto Marlies regular season games on THE FAN 590 or fan590.com.
