Marlies' LW Michel Leveille Loaned to Columbia

Mike Penny, General Manager of the Toronto Marlies, announced today that the club has loaned forward Michel Leveille to the Columbia Inferno of the ECHL.

Leveille, 27, posted eight points (six goals, two assists) and a plus-two rating in 33 games this season with the Marlies. The Levis, Quebec native recorded a pair of two-goal games on October 27 versus Hamilton and on November 3 at Hartford. Leveille skated in three games during the 2006-07 season with the Marlies, recording two goals and a plus-one rating.

The 5'9, 190-pound left wing played four years for the University of Maine Black Bears. Leveille appeared in 152 games, registering 148 points (52 goals, 96 assists) and 210 penalty minutes.

The Marlies have a rematch against Binghamton on Saturday afternoon as they take on the Senators - AHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators - at Ricoh Coliseum with puck drop scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Tomas Kaberle bobblehead night, presented by Purolator, will take place on Sunday when the Marlies play their QEW rival, Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - at Ricoh Coliseum at 4:00 p.m. For ticket information, visit www.torontomarlies.com or call the team's ticket line at 416-597-PUCK.
