Aeros Sign Kellen Briggs To PTO

HOUSTON, Texas - The Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL) announced today that goaltender Kellen Briggs has signed a professional try-out agreement with the Aeros.

Briggs, 24, has played for the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL for the majority of the season. He is 15-8-1 with two shutouts, a goals-against average of 2.22 and save percentage of .927 in 25 games played. Briggs was an All-Star selection for the Steelheads this season.

The Aeros take on the Syracuse Crunch tonight in Syracuse starting at 6:30 p.m. CST. Be sure to tune in live to Jason Shaver on KNTH 1070-AM or listen live online. Fans can also purchase the broadcast via the B2 Networks for just $6.
