Marlies Launch Million Dollar Shot Presented By Subway

The Toronto Marlies and SUBWAY restaurants are introducing the opportunity for one lucky fan to have one chance to shoot for $1 million during the second intermission at the Marlies final regular season home game on Sunday, April 13 when they host the Manitoba Moose - AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks - at 4 p.m.

The promotion will involve a search for five fans that enter at torontomarlies.com over the next four weeks. Fans will be able to enter with promotional codes from reading the Toronto Sun, watching Leafs TV or by attending Marlies home games. Five contestants will be selected through a random draw as the next step and go head-to-head with each other in an on-line fan poll. Fans will select the contestant with the most inspirational reason to shoot for $1 million in a poll on the Marlies official website. The winner will be announced live during the Maple Leafs vs. Senators telecast on April 3 on Leafs TV.

The Marlies have a rematch against Binghamton on Saturday afternoon as they take on the Senators - AHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators -at Ricoh Coliseum with puck drop scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Tomas Kaberle bobblehead night, presented by Purolator, will take place on Sunday when the Marlies play their QEW rival, Hamilton Bulldogs - AHL affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens - at Ricoh Coliseum at 4:00 p.m.
