Pack gains Holt

HARTFORD, February 21, 2008: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld announced today that the parent New York Rangers have reassigned goaltender Chris Holt to the Wolf Pack from the Charlotte Checkers of the ECHL.

Holt has played in eight games this season for the Wolf Pack and has compiled a 5-3-0 record, with a 2.48 goals-against average and a 90.3% save percentage. In 17 ECHL games with Charlotte, the third-year pro is 8-7-1 with a 2.59 GAA, a 91.9% save percentage and two shutouts. A 6-3, 221-pound native of South Surrey, BC, Holt was a sixth-round draftee by the Rangers in 2003.

The Wolf Pack are in home-ice action at the XL Center Saturday evening, taking on the Bridgeport Sound Tigers in a GEICO Connecticut Cup game (7:00).
