Wolf Pack Tip-a-Player Dinner Raises $62,000 to Benefit Gaylord Hospital

HARTFORD, February 21, 2008: Northland AEG announced today that the Hartford Wolf Pack's Fifth Annual "Tip-a-Player" Dinner and Sports Carnival, held Monday, February 18th, netted $62,000. Over the past five years, the event has raised $241,000 for Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford, Connecticut.

The event featured dinner served by the Wolf Pack players to, and competing for "tips" from, two seatings of generous supporters.

Gaylord Hospital is a long-term acute care hospital specializing in rehabilitation and medically complex patient care. The funds raised at this year's "Tip-a-Player" event will be used to purchase equipment for Gaylord's new inpatient pavilion.

The Hartford Wolf Pack Community Foundation thanks all of the generous sponsors and supporters of this event, including presenting sponsor Aetna. Special thanks to the Comcast Coliseum Club and Teresa Wollenberg, and all of the area restaurants who donated the appetizers, entrees and desserts for the event: Barb's Pizza, Tapa's, Amelia's, Feng, Kyto, Bricco's and Grants, Agave Grill, Houlihan's, Koji, Little Mark's BBQ, Hot Tomato's, The Tavern, Wood N'Tap, Formal Indulgence and City Line Distributors.
