MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, have recalled defenseman Patrik Hersley from the ECHL's Reading Royals, Monarchs Director of Hockey Operations Hubie McDonough announced today.
Hersley, 21, has played in 24 games with the Monarchs this season. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound native of Malmo, Sweden, has four assists, two penalty minutes and a plus/minus rating of minus-3 while in Manchester. In 20 games with the Royals this season, Hersley has 18 points (3-15=18) and 18 penalty minutes.
The Monarchs return the Verizon Wireless Arena for back-to-back games with the Norfolk Admirals on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23.
