Marjama (2x4, R, 4 RBI, HR) and first baseman Daniel Vogelbach (1x2, R, 2 BB, 2B) led the way for Tacoma on offense.

Designated hitter Chris Herrmann's bases-loaded walk and an RBI-single from Marjama put the Rainiers out in front 2-0 during the bottom half of the first.

Omaha answered with an RBI-single in the third from Jorge Bonifacio and a sacrifice fly during the fourth from Humberto Arteaga to level the score at 2-2.

Marjama launched his fifth home run of the season - a three-run blast that flew well beyond the R Yard in left field - to give Tacoma a 5-2 lead in the bottom of the fifth.

Rainiers relievers Matt Tenuta (0.2 IP) and Tyler Higgins (1.0) combined to keep the Storm Chasers off the board through the final 1.2 innings Friday night and cement the victory.

The Rainiers and Storm Chasers return to Cheney Stadium Saturday night at 5:05 p.m. for the final game of the three-game series. Right hander Christian Bergman (4-4, 4.28) will get the start for Tacoma and righty Trevor Clifton (0-0, 4.50) will be on the mound for Omaha.
