Kalamazoo, MI- The top scoring team in the ECHL was held scoreless for the first-time since March 23, 2011, as the Kalamazoo Wings were shutout 2-0 Saturday night by the Chicago Express

After no scoring in the opening period, the Express earned the second period's lone goal on a rebound marker from Danick Paquette (8th) 11:43 into the period. Setup by a Pierre-Luc Faubert wrist shot that was saved by Brad Fogal, who was making his K-Wings debut, Paquette was left alone to the left of the net for the tally.

Adding insurance in the third period, Jonathan Zion (8th) jammed in a Taylor Ellington shot the kissed off the post midway in the third period to conclude the game's scoring.

In his second professional contest, Rob Madore, who established an Express record for saves in a single-game the night before with 41 saves, earned his first pro victory and shutout stopping 26 shots.

Fogal made 19 saves in his K-Wings debut.

The K-Wings will continue their six-game home stand with the four-leg of the stand this Wednesday, March 10th with a 7 p.m. face-off versus the Toledo Walleye during Pack the House Night with all tickets only $6! Wednesday is also "Cocktails at the Cube", which is a FREE social and business mixer from 5-7 p.m.

Tickets for all K-Wings home games are $12.90 and $16.90 for adults and only $6.90 for kids ages 12 and under. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice games and New Year's Eve game) are just $1 more. Fans can save money by purchasing K-Wings single game tickets in advance because tickets purchased on the day of a game increase by $1.
