ECHL Announces Fines, Suspension

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fines and suspension.
Chicago's DiDiomete fined, suspended
Chicago's Devin DiDiomete has been suspended indefinitely and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #604, Chicago at Kalamazoo, on March 9.
DiDiomete was assessed a match penalty for attempting to deliberately injure an opponent under Rule #21.1 at 18:54 of the third period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Chicago's Lutz fined
Chicago's Nathan Lutz has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #604, Chicago at Kalamazoo, on March 9.
Lutz was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for charging under Rule #42.5 at 15:29 of the third period. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Toledo's Watson fined
Toledo assistant coach Dan Watson has been fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #606, Toledo at Reading, on March 9.
Watson was assessed a game misconduct for abuse of officials under Rule #39.5 at the conclusion of the game. He is fined under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.
