MacIntyre Reassigned to Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned goaltender Drew MacIntyre to the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

MacIntyre, who was recalled on an emergency basis yesterday afternoon, backed up Dan Ellis in last night's game against Washington. The Charlottetown, P.E.I. native has played 44 games for the Admirals this season, and currently leads the AHL in wins, having posted a 29-11-2 record. A free-agent signee of Nashville on July 1, 2008, MacIntyre also ranks among the league leaders in goals-against average (2.34) and save percentage (.920).

The Admirals continue their current five-game road trip on tonight at 7:00 pm against the Rockford IceHogs. The team wont' return home until Friday, March 20th at 7:00 pm against the Lake Erie Monsters. Fans can buy tickets by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
