WILKES-BARRE, PA - Forward Miroslav Satan will report to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by Pittsburgh Penguins Executive Vice President and General Manager Ray Shero.

Satan, 34, recorded 17 goals and 19 assists for 36 points in 65 games for Pittsburgh this season.

The 6-foot-3, 191-pound native of Topolcany, Slovakia has played 1,102 career NHL games over 13 seasons with Edmonton, Buffalo, the New York Islanders and the Penguins. He has scored 354 goals and 367 assists for 721 points.

Satan set his NHL single-season highs with 40 goals for Buffalo in 1998-99 and 75 points for Buffalo in 2002-03.
