Rockford IceHogs News Release

Rockford, Ill.- Ever wonder what 10,000 hot dogs look like? Stop by the Rockford MetroCentre tonight as the Rockford IceHogs take on the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:05 p.m. to find out.

To celebrate the IceHogs' 10th anniversary, we're giving away free hot dogs to any fan in attendance - 10,000 of them to be exact.

Plus any kids 14-and-under can get into the game for just $5 and high school and college students can get the best available seat for just $10 up to an hour before the game as a part of WXRX's Student Rush Night.

The Hogs come into the Big Orange Box with a 2-8-0-0 record at home in their last 10 games and are hoping to take an edge in the season series with the Ads as they enter the home stretch.

Thanks to three wins inside the Bradley Center, the IceHogs have managed a 3-3-0-1 record so far in 2008-09 against the West Division's top team.

Milwaukee is holding onto a 14-point lead over the second-place Houston Aeros in the West and a commanding 17-point lead with 16 games left in the season over the third-place IceHogs. Rockford's slim two-point lead over the fifth-place Peoria Rivermen is giving them the third of four playoff spots in the division as teams focus on making a run at the postseason.
