Amerks And Knighthawks To Give Away Car On March 12th

(Rochester, NY)... For one fan Christmas will come early as the Rochester Americans and Knighthawks will give away a 2009 Honda Fit, valued at $17,000*, on Thursday, March 12th. The fans will have a shot at winning the car at a special Dealership Party at Dick Ide Pontiac/Honda, 875 Panorama Trail in Penfield.

The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with season ticketholder registration and a player autograph session inside the dealership. Also season ticketholders can participate in the drive with your favorite player promotion, where they can sign up to test drive a car with the player of their choice. Signups will be on a first come first serve basis and will run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. the Voice of the Amerks, Don Stevens, will draw the names of the additional participants for the final part of the contest as one lucky winner will start the car and drive away with a new vehicle.

The 10 pre-selected finalists who will be participating are: Patricia Olschowka, Pat Dishaw, Jeff Dobbin, Michelle and Andrew Stotz, Mark Schiller, Ronald & Joan McMaster, Tom Grace, Richard Ruslikas, Michael E. Schell, William Paul Schryver. The additional 10 people will be drawn at Dick Ide, as part of the Second Chance raffle. The preselected entries and the second group of 10 must be present at the dealership to win.

Season ticketholders were automatically entered in the original drawing. Other fans were entered by filling out an official ballot sheet and sending it into the Amerks Office. There was no purchase necessary to enter the drawing. The season ticketholders not selected the weekend of February 28th to March 1st are automatically entered in the Second Chance Raffle, but are required to RSVP by the end of business on Tuesday, March 10th to be eligible.
