Hogs To Honor The Retired Favre

Rockford, Ill.-Rockford IceHogs Team President Mark Bernard announced on Wednesday that the American Hockey League club will honor former Green Bay Packers and New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre with "Brett Favre Retirement Night" on Monday, March 23 against the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:05 p.m.

To recognize the recently re-retired quarterback, the IceHogs are offering $4 Mezzanine End Zone tickets for their game against Milwaukee on March 23. Tickets can be purchased at the MetroCentre Box Office in downtown Rockford or by calling (815) 968-5222.

The IceHogs will also reward the most decked out Favre fan with a pair of airline tickets to Orlando courtesy of Allegiant Air. Favre fans are encouraged to show up to the game in their Favre gear.

Ten lucky fans will also win a pair Wrangler jeans made famous by the now retired gun-slinging NFL quarterback. Fans will be able to register to win the jeans at the March 23.

Next Home Game: Wednesday, March 11 vs. Milwaukee Admirals. Game time is 7:05 p.m. In honor of the IceHogs 10th Anniversary season, the team is giving away 10,000 hot dogs on Wednesday! Also, all kids 14-and-under can get into the game for just $5 and Wednesday is another Student Rush Night with WXRX as all students with a valid student ID can receive the best seat in the house for just $10.
