Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (40-52) play Game 2 of a four-game, road series against the first-place Rochester Red Wings (50-42) at Frontier Field... With a 6-0 loss last night, the Pigs have started post All-Star Break play at 0-1. Still, the surging Pigs have emerged victoriously in 11 of their last 15 affairs and 15 of their last 22 matchups with North opponents. In fact, Lehigh Valley is 19-11 in the last 30 contests after dropping 15 of 18 games from May 24 to June 11... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- are now 13-6 over their last 19 contests since June 28, but that includes dropping a three-game series to the Pigs, 2-1, from July 4-6 at Frontier Field.
LHP Jesse Biddle (0-0, 27.00) will start for LHV against LHP Pat Dean (6-7, 3.39).
First Pitch tonight is at 6:05 p.m.
