
BK Racing Drivers Headline Second Racing Knight on July 21

(UPTOWN CHARLOTTE, NC) - The Charlotte Knights will continue an eight-game homestand at BB&T Ballpark on Tuesday, July 21 with a jam-packed night in Uptown Charlotte. BK Racing drivers Jeb Burton, JJ Yeley, and Matt DiBenedetto will meet fans and sign pre-game autographs before the club's 7:05 p.m. game against division rival Durham Bulls (Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays).
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and the first 3,000 kids will receive a Knights Youth Jersey, courtesy of Carolinas HealthCare System. It's also Twitter Tuesday at the ballpark and fans can win prizes throughout the night by following the Knights on Twitter @KnightsBaseball, thanks to BB&T.
Burton currently drives the #26 Toyota Camry and comes from a racing family. Jeb is the son of Ward Burton and nephew of Jeff Burton. DiBenedetto, who currently drives the #83 Toyota Camry, won the 2007 UARA-STARS Rookie of the Year Award. Yeley, who is driving the #28 Toyota Camry, was named as the 1997 USAC Sprint Rookie of the Year and the 2002 and 2003 Non-Winged Driver of the Year from the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame.
BK Racing is a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team headquartered in Charlotte, N.C. Founded in 2012 after acquiring Red Bull Racing, BK Racing's staff of 60+ employees' works to field the #23, #26, #83 & #93 entries in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as a Toyota Racing team.
The team's eight-game homestand continues tonight at BB&T Ballpark with a 7:05 p.m. game against the Norfolk Tides (Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles).
