Today's Game
Tonight, the Bisons take on the Columbus Clippers in the second game of a four-game set at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). Buffalo has now dropped consecutive contest by a final score of 8-1. The Bisons will have two more games against the Clippers before hosting Thruway Cup Rival Syracuse on Monday for a four-game series.

The Bisons are 2-2 against the Clippers. Buffalo has won the only prior series this year 2-1, May 18-20 in Columbus. The Bisons have not lost a home series to the Clippers since 2011, winning three of four from Columbus at Coca-Cola Field in each of the last three years.
Daniel Norris
LHP DANIEL NORRIS will make his 14th start of the season tonight. The lefty allowed a season-high six earned runs on Sunday against Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Norris lasted just 4.2 innings while surrendering nine hits, walking two, and striking out just as the Bisons fell 8-1 to the RailRiders. The Bisons only average 3.2 runs per game in his starts.
MattVP
All-Star INF MATT HAGUE has 116 hits this season, 15 more than any other batter. He also owns .347 batting average, the best in the IL by a sizable 29-point margin. Hague is also the only batter in the IL with an on-base pct over .400 (.437). With his lone walk last night, he sits just three behind the current IL leader, Charlotte's Daniel Fields.
Roster Move
OF DALTON POMPEY has been promoted from New Hampshire (AA). With the Fisher Cats, the outfielder hit .351 with six home runs, 22 RBI and seven stolen bases in 31 games. INF RYAN SCHIMPF has been placed on the disabled list.
Bisons Bits
INF ANDY BURNS picked up his 20th multi-hit game yesterday, 2nd best on the Bisons...OF ALEX HASSAN has hit .349 (15-43) with five doubles and three RBI in 11 games this month.
Hall of Fame Day
Prior to tonight's game, INF GREG LAROCCA and C/INF CHRIS COSTE will be inducted into the Buffalo Bisons Hall of Fame. LaRocca played 300 games with the Bisons (2001-03) and had a .295 average in a Herd uniform. Coste was the Bisons 2002 MVP and had a career .307 average in Buffalo. Joining them in the Class of 2015 is longtime Bisons associate and International League official scorer, Kevin Lester.
Blue Jays Update
The Blue Jays (45-46) open up the second half or their season tonight against AL East Rival Tampa Bay (7:07 p.m.). Toronto currently finds themselves in 4th place in the AL East, trialing the New York Yankees by 4.5 games
