The Bulls play game two of a four-game set against the Pawtucket Red Sox at the DBAP in the first series after the All-Star break. Durham is 7-5 in July, but has still dropped 16 of its last 25 contests to go from a 2.0-game lead in the IL South to a 3.5-game deficit. Pawtucket - the Boston Red Sox top affiliate - is 1-11 in July, and is just 1-13 over its last 14 games to fall from 38-39 to 39-53. The PawSox are in the midst of a club-record 11-game road losing streak, and from 6/29-7/10 suffered through an 11-game losing skid, two losses off the franchise record.
