
Leading Scorer Pistilli Loaned to AHL Charlotte

Estero, FL - The Florida Everblades announced Friday that top-scoring winger Matthew Pistilli has signed a professional tryout offer with the Charlotte Checkers, an American Hockey League affiliate of the Blades.
Pistilli, 25, is currently the leading scorer in the entire ECHL with 36 points (16g, 20a). He is averaging better than a point-per-game for the second consecutive season with the Everblades.
Hailing from Montreal, Quebec, Pistilli has previously appeared in 126 contests for the Checkers over the past three seasons, with 20 goals and 24 assists.
The Blades will resume regular season play after the holiday break when they head back out on the road for a 7:00pm Saturday date with their in-state rivals, the Orlando Solar Bears, at the Amway Center.
Next Saturday's intrastate matchup will be broadcast live online at FloridaEverblades.com and on the Everblades' app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, with a video webcast available through America ONE, the official broadband and mobile broadcaster of the ECHL, at www.americaonesports.com. Pregame coverage will get under way at 6:45pm.
