Utah Grizzlies News Release

Boise, Idaho - Utah Grizzlies Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Colley today announced that goaltender J.P. Lamoureux has been recalled to the AHL's Abbotsford Heat.

The Grizzlies and Heat are the minor league affiliates for the NHL's Calgary Flames.

With Utah, the 2008-2009 ECHL goaltender of the year went 2-1-1-0 with a 3.49 goals-against-average and a .880 save percentage.

Utah now turns to 21-year-old Andrew Engelage to hold down the goaltending duties in Lamoureux's absence. Engelage led Utah to a 4-3 shootout win Wednesday in Boise as the team improved to 3-1-1-0. The six-foot-five second-year pro stopped 41 of 44 shots and all four he faced from Idaho in the shootout to earn the win in his season debut.

In addition, six-foot-five defenseman Nick Tuzzolino joined Utah yesterday in Boise and will be in action when the Grizzlies and Steelheads resume their three-game series tonight at 7:10 p.m. Tuzzolino, who spent the previous two seasons with rival Alaska, was acquired by Utah in a trade with Wheeling Tuesday.

Utah returns home Friday, November 19 and Saturday, November 20 to host the Alaska Aces at Maverik Center. Friday is Maverik "Pack the House" night. All tickets are $5 for fans presenting a receipt from Maverik at the arena box office. Fans who present military identification Saturday will receive a $5 game ticket as well.
