Wranglers Fall to Bakersfield, 2-1

Las Vegas, NV - In the first regular season home game against Bakersfield the Las Vegas Wranglers(r) were unable to figure out Bakersfield goaltender Josh Tordjman. The Wranglers outshot the Condors 38-19. Ryan Huddy tallied the lone goal for the Wranglers and goaltender Joe Fallon earned his second loss of the season. Pascal Morency and Ryan Kaip both scored for the Condors as Josh Tordjman earned his second win of the season.

The first period saw only one goal from Ryan Huddy on a centering feed that found its way between the legs of Tordjman at the 18:40 mark. Blair Riley and Pascal Morency squared off in the first regular season fight at the Orleans Arena.

The second period was controlled completely by the Condors. Pascal Morency scored the game tying goal with a slap shot from the near face-off circle with an assist from Adam Naglich at the 9:17 mark. The Condors took the lead for good with a breakaway goal from Ryan Kaip at the 11:37 mark.

Neither team was able to score in the third period as the Wranglers held the Condors to only two shots.

The Wranglers will face off against Alaska tomorrow night at the Orleans Arena. The puck drops at 7:05.

The Las Vegas Wranglers(r) are the ECHL affiliate to the National Hockey League's Phoenix Coyotes and the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage.
