Atlanta Gladiators News Release

Over the past seven seasons, the Gwinnett Gladiators have given in excess of one million dollars, over half of that in cash donations, back to the North Metro Atlanta Area community. These donations have been accomplished through the generosity of our fans and sponsors through the Gladiators Foundation for Kids, through the efforts of local schools, athletic teams and charitable organizations in our Peggy Slappey Properties FUNdraising program and through our various community outreach activities.

Beginning this season, the Gladiators will add to that total with the announcement of Project Give Back in conjunction with new corporate partner Priority Payment Systems. Project Give Back is an innovative win-win opportunity for local businesses to support the Gladiators Foundation for Kids as well as their own local charitable causes. Through the Project Give Back program, Priority Payment Systems will offer local businesses reduced credit card processing costs and superior service levels while also committing a significant percentage of their profits to be donated to the Gladiators Foundation for Kids.

"It's actually a win for everyone involved," said John Priore, President and CEO of Priority Payment Systems. "We are a local credit card processing company and we wanted to get more involved in our community. We looked at our relationship with the Gladiators and their relationships with local businesses and the Project Give Back idea was born. There is no better way to give back than through the local businesses that make up our communities."

The program works very simply. Priority Payment Systems will work with local businesses by providing reduced credit card processing fees. In addition, Priority Payment Systems then donates a portion of Priority's revenue from the local business back to the community through the Gladiators Foundation for Kids on a monthly reoccurring basis.

"We're very proud to team up with Priority Payment Systems for the Project Give Back initiative," said Gladiators President Steve Chapman. "They have been a great local partner and have served as our credit card processor for the past five years. Through Project Give Back, local businesses can save money for their business while also generating funding for local charities. In other words, local money stays in our community. I hope that local business partners will take a good look at it."

To receive more information on Project Give Back, visit prioritypaymentsystems.com or call Priority Payment Systems at 678-486-1878 to talk directly to a representative.

The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
