
Kossila Assigned to Gulls

SAN DIEGO - The Anaheim Ducks announced today that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned center Kalle Kossila to the San Diego Gulls, Anaheim's primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Kossila, 25 (4/14/93), made his NHL season debut on Nov. 1 vs. the New York Rangers, going scoreless in 11:22 time-on-ice (TOI). Kossila has earned 1-1=2 points in 12 career NHL games with Anaheim.
The 5-10, 185-pound center began the 2018-19 season with the Gulls, scoring three goals in two AHL games. Kossila returns to San Diego leading the team in power-play goals (2) and tied for second in goals. Signed as a free agent on Mar. 30, 2016, Kossila has collected 40-69=109 points with a +18 rating in 128 career AHL games.
