Koopmans Returns

(Toledo, Ohio) The Toledo Storm of the ECHL announced today that the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League have recalled goaltender Drew MacIntyre from Toledo, and assigned goaltender Logan Koopmans to the Storm.

Logan, the ECHL Saver of the Week for the week of November 15th through the 21st, did not appear for the Griffins since his recall on March 1st. Koopmans has appeared in 22 games with the Storm this season. In those contests, Logan has a record of 11-9-1 with a 2.95 goals against average and a .903 save percentage. Koopmans also has collected two shutouts this season.

Drew started one game, and appeared in 2 contests since being assigned to the Storm on March 1st. MacIntyre was 0-1-0 with a 4.12 GAA and a .850 SVP with Toledo. This season with the Griffins, Drew has a 6-5-0 record, a 2.57 GAA, and a .908 SVP. He also collected his first professional shutout, January 9th 4-0 over Cleveland.

The Storm return to the home ice this Friday and Saturday nights against the Trenton Titans. Friday, March 18th is Tropical Storm Night with the "Miss Tropical Storm" Bikini Contest. Toledo Hockey...A History of Champions!
