FLORENCE, SC -- The Pee Dee Pride have a couple of special events planned for this weekend.

Thursday, the Pride host the Greenville Grrrowl at 7:00 p.m., and on Friday, the Pride take on the Charlotte Checkers, with face off set for 7:30 p.m. During both of this weekend's games, the Pride will wear special St. Patrick's Day jerseys, sponsored by Colortyme Rent-to-Own. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase a bracelet at both games to help support the JDRF. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation will have tables set up on the concourse at both games to sell their bracelets.

Thursday is the final Thirsty Thursday of the season, with all draft beer just $2.

At Friday's game, the ECHL championship trophy, the Kelly Cup, will be on display on the concourse. Fans are encouraged to bring their camera to take a picture of the Kelly Cup. In addition, Pat Kelly, the Cup's namesake, will be in attendance for pictures and autographs from 6:45-7:15, as well as during both the first and second intermission of the game.
