ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL, a proud affiliate of the New York Islanders, have announced that defenseman Brett Peterson has been traded to Johnstown as part of the future considerations to complete the trade for center Shawn Mather.

Peterson, 23, notched three goals and nine points in 56 games with the Bullies after signing as a free agent on October 26. The Northborough, MA native is in his rookie season following a four-year collegiate career at Boston College.

Mather, 25, is currently tied for the Chief's scoring lead with 19 goals and 43 points through 56 games. The four-year professional has tallied 66 goals and 156 points in 255 career games.
