
Komets Add Defenseman Campbell, Activate MacDonald

The Komets announced today that defenseman Sean Campbell has agreed to terms and been added to the Fort Wayne roster. Campbell, 24, completed a four-year collegiate career this season with St. Norbert College scoring college career highs of 15 assists and 17 points in 32 games. Campbell was on board as the Green Knights won the 2018 NCAA Division III national championship.
The Komets also announced that forward Marco Roy has been placed on 21-day injured reserve and forward Justin MacDonald has been activated from injured reserve.
Tonight the Komets skate at Cincinnati at 7:45pm. Opening faceoff has been delayed 10 minutes due to the Cincinnati Reds baseball season opener being changed from yesterday to today. Great America Ball Park serves as the home of the Cincinnati Reds and is located next to U.S. Bank Arena, the site of tonight's Komets-Cyclones game in downtown Cincinnati.
After tonight, the Komets will travel to Indy for a 7:35pm faceoff Saturday. Game broadcasts can be heard on WOWO Radio AM 1190/FM 107.5 and streaming live at Komets.com with Shane Albahrani calling the play-by-play.
The Komets finish the regular season home slate with two home games next weekend. Saturday, April 7 the Wheeling Nailers visit at 7:30pm and Sunday, April 8 the Komets cap the regular season against Cincinnati at 5pm. The first two home playoff games will be held Saturday, April 14 at 7:30pm and Sunday, April 15 at 6pm. Tickets are on sale at the Coliseum ticket office.
