Head-To-Head - Both teams won on home ice in the season series, however Allen picked up a point in a 4-3 overtime loss in Colorado on March 18th. The two clubs will play a total of six times during the regular season, with four of the six taking place in Allen.

100 Point Club - Americans defenseman Eric Roy joined the 100 point club with his 14th goal of the season on Wednesday night against Wichita. Roy, along with fellow defenseman Joel Chouinard, lead the Americans with seven power play goals each.

Ain't No Mountain High Enough - The Americans jumped back into fourth place in the Mountain Division with Wednesday's 4-1 victory over Wichita. If the playoffs started today, Allen would face the ECHL Kelly Cup Champion Colorado Eagles in Round 1. The Americans have four games remaining in the regular season after tonight.

Back and Better Then Ever - Americans goalie Jake Paterson was spectacular in his return from injury on Wednesday night, stopping 32 of 33 Wichita shots. Paterson has won seven of his first eight starts and has a .923 save percentage with the Americans.

Not Your Average Guppy - Americans forward Alex Guptill has been on a tear of late, with points in 11 of his last 12 games. Guptill leads the Americans in goals with 27, and since being acquired from Rapid City, he has 43 points in 43 games.

Friendly Confines - The Americans play four of their final five games at Allen Event Center, with all four against the top two teams in the Mountain Division. Allen is 3-0-0-1 against both Colorado and Idaho on home-ice this season.

Around The ECHL - The Wichita Thunder and Tulsa Oilers square-off tonight Intrust Bank Arena in Wichita. The Americans trail the Thunder by one point with a game in-hand. Allen and Tulsa have both played 67 games with the Americans up by two points over the Oilers for that final playoff spot in the division.

TONIGHT -The Allen Americans are hosting a Fundraiser Night for Beckett Dougherty this evening at our game against Colorado. Beckett is the 9 month old son former Americans hockey player ('09-'10) Britt Dougherty, and his wife Kelley, a former member of the Americans Ticket Sales Staff. Beckett has been fighting ALL, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, for the past 6 months. The Dougherty's home is in Swift Current Saskatoon, but they moved their family to Toronto to have the best care at Sick Children's Hospital.
