Great Lakes Loons News Release
MIDLAND, MI - Heavy rains got the best of Sunday's game at Dow Diamond, which was scheduled to be the final game of a three-game series between the Great Lakes Loons (44-27) and the South Bend Silver Hawks (31-39).
The outing has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader for Monday, July 5, first pitch scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Game two of the doubleheader will be the official make-up.
Fans that purchased tickets for Sunday's rainout may exchange them at the Dow Diamond box office for tickets of equal or lesser value to any of the remaining Loons home games this season, based on availability.
The Loons will hit the road Monday to face the Lake County Captains for a three-game series against the Eastern Division leaders. RHP Allen Webster (6-5, 3.11), who was scheduled to start Sunday, will get the nod against the Captains right-handed hurler Vidal Nuno (2-1, 5.87) on Monday.
