
Jokipakka, McKenzie Recalled by Dallas

CEDAR PARK, Texas - The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced today defenseman Jyrki Jokipakka and forward Curtis McKenzie have both been recalled by Dallas.
McKenzie, 23, has earned 13 points ( four goals, nine assists) in 16 games for Texas this season. In 14 games for Dallas this season, he has posted one goal and 19 penalty minutes.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound native of Golden, British Columbia was selected by Dallas in the sixth round (159th overall) of the 2009 NHL Draft.
Jokipakka (YIHR-kee YOH-kee-pah-kuh), 23, has four points ( three goals, one assist ) in 15 games for Texas this season. He has three assists in 16 games for Dallas this season.
The 6-foot-3, 210-pound native of Tampere, Finland was selected by Dallas in the seventh round (195th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft.
