Glens Falls, NY--Viktor Arvidsson scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead the Milwaukee Admirals to a 4-3 win over the Adirondack Flames Saturday night.

The win was Milwaukee's seventh in a row. It's the longest winning streak of the season for the Admirals, which opened the 2014-15 season with six straight victories.

Arvidsson skated the puck into the offensive zone against Flames defenseman Corey Potter. Arvidsson stopped in the right circle and Potter skated by. Arvidsson skated into the slot and lifted a backhanded shot over the right shoulder of Adirondack goalie Brad Thiessen for his 14th goal of the season at 1:48 of overtime.

Admirals goalie Magnus Hellberg stopped 25 shots to earn the win.

The Flames forced the overtime when Michael Ferland tapped the puck into the Admirals goal with 50.9 seconds remaining in regulation.

For the second game in a row, Admirals forward Rich Clune scored the first goal of the contest. With the Flames on the power play, Flames forward Max Reinhart turned the puck over at center ice. Clune pounced on the loose puck and broke toward the Flames' net. He fired a shot over the glove of Adirondack net minder Thiessen for his third goal of the season at 18:33 of the first frame. It was Milwaukee's first shorthanded goal as a team this season.

The Admirals claimed a 2-0 lead at 1:56 of the second period. Miikka Salomaki kicked a bouncing puck with his right foot into the air from the Flames blue line. Thiessen made the stop but the rebound got away from him and Salomaki chased it down to swat a backhander into the net for his sixth goal of the season.

The Flames got on the board at 7:16 of the second period when David Wolf scored his eighth goal of the season as he finished a 2-on-0 rush against Hellberg.

Milwaukee was able to grab the two-goal lead once again with a power play goal at 15:15 of the second period. Brendan Leipsic passed the puck from the right wing boards to Taylor Aronson at the point. Aronson slid a pass to Arvidsson in the left circle and Arvidsson blasted a one-timer past the glove of Thiessen for his 13th goal of the season, sixth on the power play.

The Flames once again crawled within one at 16:32 of the second period. After an Admirals turnover, Hellberg was able to stop an initial shot but Wolf was there to plant his second goal of the game.

Milwaukee's returns to the BMO Harris Bradley Center to host Utica Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7 pm.
