
Jacks Close Out 2008 With 5-2 Win

(Odessa, TX) - Mike Ramsay's second period goal proved to be the game winner as the Jacks ended the year with a 5-2 win over the Amarillo Gorillas on Wednesday night in Amarillo.
Ramsay added another goal in the third period to give him eight goals this season. Kory Karlander had a four point night with a goal and three assists. Ramsay and Dominic Leveille each had three points in the game. Jeff Pierce also added a goal for Odessa in the second period.
Sebastien Thinel opened up the scoring at 3:56 of the first period on assists from Dominic Leveille and Kory Karlander.
The Jacks travel to Bossier City, LA to take on the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Friday night. It will be the only meeting this season between Odessa and Bossier. Game time is 7:05 PM and you can listen to the game on 97 Gold or watch the game online on the CHL Network.
