MEMPHIS -- Justin Sellers singled home two runs in the eighth inning as the Albuquerque Isotopes rallied again for a victory Friday night, 4-3 over the Memphis Redbirds at Auto Zone Park. The Topes are 11-3 against Memphis this season, and they pulled within one game of Round Rock in the PCL's American Southern Division.

Each of the last three Isotopes (45-37) victories have been come-from-behind. They trailed 3-1 entering the eighth, but rallied off Victor Marte (2-2).

Dee Gordon reached base on a wild pitch after a strikeout. Chili Buss was hit by a pitch. Brian Barden's bloop single scored a run, then after Matt Angle was intentionally walked, Sellers brought home the tying- and go-ahead runs.

Steve Ames recorded his eighth save of the season and earned it, pitching two scoreless innings with the narrow margin. Ames struck out three and didn't allow a hit.

Starting pitcher Blake Johnson went six innings, allowing two runs (one earned) and just two hits.

Gordon reached base five times, including three hits and a walk, and stole his 25th base of the season. Gordon tripled in the first inning and scored on Elian Herrera's sacrifice fly.

Game three of the four-game series is Saturday night. Memphis native Matt Palmer starts for the Isotopes. Carlos Martinez gets the ball for Memphis. First pitch will be at 5:05 MT and can be heard on 610 "The Sports Animal" with Josh Suchon on the call.
