Herrera, who began the year on the Isotopes Opening Day Roster, returns after being recalled by Los Angeles for the second time this season. The 28-year-old made his Major League debut with the Dodgers on May 15, 2012. The Dominican import is hitting .253 (49-for-194) in 70 career MLB games (all with Los Angeles) with ten doubles, a home run and 17 RBI. Herrera has gone 2-for-7 in three games in two separate stints with the Dodgers this season.

Herrera, a switch-hitter, is batting .300 with five homers and 28 RBI in 61 games with the Isotopes, including a .317 mark with runners in scoring position (19-for-60).

Cofield was placed on the disabled list today after joining the Isotopes on June 22 from Double-A Chattanooga. He signed with the Dodgers in February of 2013. The 26-year-old Alabama native pitched an inning-plus for Albuquerque against Round Rock this season. He allowed four runs on three hits.

Please note, Cofield was not sent to the Arizona Summer League as stated in yesterday's release. Additionally right-hander Sean White is still on the disabled list.
