
Aces Announce Upcoming Promotions

RENO, Nev. - The Aces will return to Reno Monday for a three-game homestand, highlighted by giveaways, fireworks, and discounts. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m Monday and Tuesday, with a 6:35 p.m start Wednesday.
The Aces kick-off the homestand Monday, with Margarita Monday presented by Alice @96.5, featuring half-price margaritas. The popular Dollar Wednesday promotion will be moved up to Monday evening's contest, and will feature $1 hot dogs throughout the game.
Tuesday evening brings another 2-for-$22 Tuesday presented by KTVN Channel 2 News. Fans can purchase two general admission tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for only $22. The 2-for-$22 ticket package can be purchased by calling (775) 334-7000 or visiting the Aces Ballpark Ticket Office.
Wednesday will wrap-up the homestand with an array of special events. Aces Ballpark will host a special Independence Day Celebration, presented by KTVN Channel 2 News and K-Bull 98.1, with a grand fireworks show at the conclusion of the game. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m., and gates will open at 5:05 p.m.
Prior to the game, the 2013 High School Home Run Derby finals will be hosted, with McQueen's Kody Reynolds going up against Spanish Springs' Chase Hauder. The home run derby will begin at 5:15 p.m.
Wednesday also brings a special guest to Aces Ballpark, as Taylor Hicks will sing the national anthem prior to the game. Hicks was the Season Five winner of Fox's popular show "American Idol." Nearly 37 million Americans tuned in to crown Hicks the Season Five winner, and 64 million votes were cast, making it one of the most-watched television events of the last decade.
